This is what she left me when she died.
When songwriter Marilyn Bergman died a few days ago, she left me with an earworm.
Marilyn was half of the husband and wife songwriting team of Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and if you’ve never heard their names, odds are you’ve heard at least one of their songs. Among others, they wrote “The Way We Were” for Barbra Streisand.
